⚙️ Recommended Print Settings

This structural print is designed for a specific vertical orientation for the best surface texture and layer adhesion. No sealing or hollowing is required.

FDM/Filament Settings (Recommended for Structure & Size)

Material: PETG or ABS/ASA is recommended for high-humidity vivarium environments.
Layer Height: 0.2 mm.
Infill Density: 10-15%. Sufficient for a strong, structural hideout.
Wall/Perimeter Count: 3. Ensures structural integrity.
Orientation (CRITICAL): Print the model flat on its base for maximum stability. Supports are recommended for the cave entrance.

SLA/Resin Settings (Recommended for Detail)

Material: Standard UV Resin (Grey or Rocky color).
Layer Height: 0.05 mm or finer.
Orientation (CRITICAL): Print flat on its base. Light supports are recommended around the inner arch of the entrance.
Preparation: No hollowing or drainage holes needed.

Important: Always thoroughly clean your final print before placing it in any animal habitat. Avoid using metal-filled or abrasive filaments. For safety, ensure PLA prints are not placed near heat sources.

This simple print requires no assembly, only cleaning for safety.

Slicer Preparation

Hollowing: Not required. Print solid or with low infill.
Supports: Light supports are recommended specifically beneath the cave entrance arch. Check your slicer preview carefully before printing.
Assembly: No glue or assembly required. This prints as a single, complete piece.

Cleaning (CRITICAL)

Before introducing the hideout to your terrarium, wash it thoroughly with hot, non-soapy water. This removes any release agents (Resin) or printing oils/dust (FDM) that could harm the inhabitants. A final thorough rinse is mandatory.
